How to Play
Buried Empire is a connected progression game: build, act, recover, trade and compete. New options open as your Commander level, property, vehicles, economy and alliance grow.
Build Your Base
Grow from a basic shelter into a stronger underground property. Resources, recovery bonuses and bunker progression support everything else you do.
Manage Energy and Nerve
Crimes, expeditions, PvP and other actions use server-controlled Energy or Nerve. Plan around cooldowns instead of trying to do every action at once.
Run Crimes and Expeditions
Commit crimes for risk-and-reward progression, then send expeditions to recover Cash, Scrap, supplies, Intel, XP and item loot.
Use Workers, Heroes and Production
Hire Engineer, Farmer, Scavenger and Medic workers, upgrade the Collector Bot and unlock specialist heroes that improve key gameplay loops.
Build a Garage
Buy and upgrade BMW vehicles, keep them repaired and choose an active car for expedition speed, escape bonuses and larger loot returns through Storage upgrades.
Grow Your Economy
Protect Cash in the bank, own a company, trade resources on the player market, complete missions and challenges, and spend Points in the Last Light Casino.
Enter Multiplayer Conflict
Join an alliance, coordinate operations, use messages and live chat, opt into PvP, fight for territories, investigate rivals and climb the rankings.
Live operations
The core game systems are live. Ongoing updates focus on balance, seasonal events and deeper multiplayer progression while preserving existing player progress.
