Buried Empire

FAQ

What is Buried Empire?

Buried Empire is a browser strategy game about building an underground empire after collapse. You manage resources, run crimes and expeditions, develop vehicles and property, trade, join alliances and compete with other commanders.

Is the game playable now?

Yes. The connected core is live, including progression, crimes, expeditions, workers, inventory, vehicles, property, banking, companies, market trading, missions, challenges, events, alliances, PvP, territories, rankings, messages and casino games.

What are Cash and Points?

Cash is the main in-game money used across the economy. Points are a separate in-game balance used by the Last Light Casino and are not mixed with normal Cash or resources.

What does Commander Level do?

Commander Level tracks overall progression and unlocks stronger actions and systems. XP earned from gameplay advances your Commander rank.

What do property and bunker upgrades do?

Your underground property improves shelter capacity, defense and recovery bonuses. Other upgrades, workers and production systems strengthen the resource loop that supports surface activity.

How do vehicles work?

You can own and upgrade BMW vehicles, select one as active and maintain its condition. Active vehicles can improve expedition speed, escape performance and loot capacity depending on their upgrades.

What are expeditions?

Expeditions are timed surface operations that spend Energy and can return Cash, XP, resources, Intel and item loot. Vehicle condition and upgrades affect the run.

How do alliances and PvP work?

Alliances are live with roles, chat, organized operations and territory control. PvP is opt-in, city based and uses server-controlled Energy, health, cooldowns, battle reports and limited Cash loss.

What happens if I forget my password?

Use Forgot password on the Log In page. A recovery link will be sent to your account email so you can set a new password.

Is development finished?

The core game is playable, but Buried Empire is still expanding. Current development focuses on deeper equipment, crafting, alliance warfare, repeatable activities, events, balance and end-game progression.
